We are a licensed supplier of CU-Structural Soil® in Alberta (also known as CU-Soil®) (U.S. Patent #5,849,069), a soil designed by Cornell University to improve the growth and development of urban trees. Developed as a way to safely bear pavement loads after compaction and yet still allow root penetration and vigorous tree growth, CU-Structural Soil® is intended for paved sites to provide adequate soil volumes for tree roots under pavements. It may be used under pedestrian mall paving, sidewalks, planting islands, and parking lots. The delivery schedule was tight, but Eagle Lake worked closely with us to ensure everything stayed on track.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Eagle Lake Professional Landscape Supply for many years. We trusted them to assist us with a unique indoor garden project in downtown Calgary. Tasked with creating custom soil blends to meet specific architectural requirements for a tropical garden, Eagle Lake tackled some serious challenges with us. They produced 50 cubic yards of high-quality soil late in the season and expertly packed it into 50-pound bulk bags to navigate the building’s elevators—a logistical hurdle they made simple. The delivery schedule was tight, but Eagle Lake worked closely with us to ensure everything stayed on track. Thanks to their dedication and flexibility, the garden is flourishing today. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner on this project!
