Optimal Soil Blends

Plant power is bursting with life! This premium grade potting soil made from a blend of compost, peat moss, pumice, fir fines, CocoCoir and worm castings. This Soil-less blend is course in texture, rich in organic matter, and packed with nutrients and beneficial bacteria, with an optimal pH for amending. It makes and exceptional planting soil for all types of plant material and when used as a soil amendment will transform even the poorest soils.

Veggie Blend is a balanced soil perfect for all types of vegetable crops. Made from a blend of compost, peat moss, sandy screened loam, pumice, fire fines and CocoCoir, it's coarse in texture, rich in organic matter and nutrients with a balanced PH.

Nature's Blend has a touch of screened loam mixed in with our blend of peat moss and compost which makes it a little heavier than our Alberta Gold. Nature's Blend is a great all round soil that is perfect for raised garden beds, over-seeding a lawn or for using under sod.

Screened black topsoil, useful for leveling purposes or as clean fill. Can be mixed with nutrient rich soil amendments for planting. At Eagle Lake Turf Farm & Landscape Supply, we screen all our soil to remove rocks, sticks and large debris.

Our Garden Blend is a mix made up chiefly of sandy screened loam, peat moss and compost and works well for most landscaping projects. An ideal garden bed mix and as a base for laying sod on, Garden Blend is a nutrient-rich mix. Please note Garden Blend is available in BULK only.

This mix of compost and peat moss makes the perfect topdressing blend for your lawn or used to amend or enhance planting soil. Best applied in Spring or Fall, regular topdressing will improve your overall lawn health and minimize the need for fertilizer.
